parchmentOrigin Story.
In this origin story, there is no villain, just an idea. The idea of Ramentic is to create a business of ramen cup noodle vending machine. Plan is simple, the machine has already been invented so if I can buy a few of them and place them in hospitals, airport, college buildings, dorms and etc. How this came about is that when I was going thru art school, we have this one vending machine that sells bags of chips, candy bars and basically any kind of cold and sweet food in a plastic wrap. Maybe someone is a big fan of that but definitely not me. During those late nights in that building, that’s all you got. For an Asian, nothing beats some hot soup with some noodle for some comfort food.
Long Story, Short Story.
Well, that ramen vending machine idea didn’t come to fruition as it require heavy capital upfront and the restocking could be a manpower disaster. So abandon ship it is. For awhile, Ramentic only existed in Instagram with a theme of noodles from around the world.
Fast Forward to 2022.
An new idea have sprung after a few years of hiatus from anything. In 2022, Ramentic will be a blog about What to Watch. Basically as the world has become more streaming platform driven, there has been a galore of free, subscription and hybrid formats. I personally prefer free and hybrid like YouTube. So Ramentic will be like a TV guide for the 2020s on what to stream and where to find it. Another fun idea being bounced around is matching what to eat and a movie, it’s sort of like the equivalent of what wine to match with what kind of dish. So yeah!
